Story

In Memory of Gabriel – Taking Action On Addiction

Gabriel was only 22 when we lost him. He was a wonderful young man with a kind soul and so much potential. But he also faced the silent struggles that so many young people battle with today including addiction and other mental health difficulties and the stigma that stops people from reaching out.

We’re raising money in Gabriel’s name for Taking Action On Addiction, a national campaign run by The Forward Trust, which is dedicated to transforming attitudes towards addiction and therefore improving the quality of support for recovery. They advocate for addiction to be treated as a serious mental health condition therfore allowing for better access to treatment and challenging the harmful stigma that too often prevents people from getting help.

This cause is personal. Gabriel mattered. And we want to make sure other lives are not lost too soon because of silence, shame, or lack of support.

Please donate if you can. Help us honour Gabriel’s memory by fighting for a future where compassion replaces stigma and recovery is truly possible.

Thank you for standing with us.
