Fusion Ride - 10 More Years, 30 June 2023
We are the first generation in many generations where our children here in South Yorkshire will have a shorter life expectancy than ourselves. For those living in poverty, the gap is 10 years in comparison to more affluent peers. We must change this.

Story

A team of dedicated cyclists; Owen, Dan, Andy, Gareth, Harry, Sam, Paul, Damian, Nicola, Stephen and I are riding over 100 miles to raise essential funding for children across South Yorkshire.

Why?

Too many children and young people, specifically those living in poverty, do not get access to the required hours of physical activity essential to a healthy childhood.

Today, you are part of the first generation in many generations where your own children here in South Yorkshire will have a shorter life expectancy than yourselves. For those living in poverty, the gap is on average closer to 10 years in comparison to the life expectancy of their more affluent peers.

As a charity, Active Fusion use the power of sport and physical activity to lobby for change and equity for all children to be active. Please support us to make a difference to local children in need.

Thank you for your support.
