Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We’re raising money for Wigan and Leigh Hospice by completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in less than 12 hours!

In February of this year, one of our staff members unfortunately lost their Dad at the age of 55 following a long battle with cancer. He was cared for in his final weeks by the team at Wigan and Leigh Hospice and the treatment he received was outstanding. The team are kind, caring and compassionate and this shows in the care they provide.

However, this unfortunately does not pay the looming bills that the hospice face. Every year they provide hospice care to over 1,200 local people who are living with a life-limiting or terminal illness.

They are a charity and receive less than a third of their funding from the NHS. They have to raise over £4.4million every year so that they can continue delivering all of their services for those who need them.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated, thank you for visiting our page.

Wish us luck!! The Fuse 2 Team 🗻🥾

We provide specialist end-of-life care, and a wide range of support services, to over 1,200 people who are living with a life-limiting illness in the Wigan Borough. Many patients are cared for in their own homes, although we also care for people living in care homes and in our In-Patient Unit.
