Hello, my name is Fulungesio Zulu, a 29-year-old Zambian national and student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Developmental Studies. I'm passionate about improving the lives of my community members, particularly in rural areas.

Project: Rural Area Water Supply

I'm excited to introduce my project, "Rural Area Water Supply," aimed at providing safe and clean water to rural communities in Zambia. Many areas in my community lack access to clean water, leading to water-borne diseases and other health issues.

Objectives and Goals

My objective is to drill solar-powered boreholes, spaced 50 meters apart, to provide a reliable source of clean water. With your funding support, I plan to:

- Drill boreholes in strategic locations

- Purchase pipes and taps for water distribution

- Employ local labor to carry out the construction work

Impact

This project will significantly improve the lives of rural community members by:

- Providing access to safe and clean water

- Reducing water-borne diseases

- Enhancing food security through irrigation

- Empowering women and children by reducing the burden of water collection

As a holder of a certificate in Laboratory Technology, I possess a strong foundation in water quality analysis. Currently, I'm furthering my studies in Developmental Studies, which has equipped me with knowledge on project management, community development, and sustainable practices.
