Story
We want to help transform healthcare for people across South West Surrey and beyond.
All money raised from the events we run go towards the campaign, which builds upon the hospital's world class services in the fields of traditional and robotic surgery, enhances its theatre capacity and improves patient experiences and outcomes throughout Surrey and the South East. The new centre will mean 7,000 more patients, including those with a life-threatening cancer diagnosis, will receive treatment every year.
Story
The Friends of the Royal Surrey County Hospital Cancer and Surgical Innovation Centre was set up by a group of community fundraising people in Surrey.
We are delighted to be supporting the charity's Cancer and Surgical Innovation Campaign. This campaign is raising money to help build a new surgical centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, which will provide an additional 7000 surgical operations each year using state-of-the-art robotic surgery.
By donating to Cancer and Surgical Innovation Campaign, you will help:
• Fund lifesaving surgical equipment and technology that will lead to fewer complications and faster recovery times.
• Enhance the experience of patients by funding comfortable and welcoming spaces for patients to prepare for, rest and recover from surgery.
• Support staff wellbeing so they can provide extraordinary care, by creating rest areas for them to prepare for surgical procedures and recharge.
• Invest in research, training and education for future surgical specialists across a wide range of surgical disciplines.
The Friends of the RSCH Cancer and Surgical Innovation Centre organise a series of fantastic fundraising events and opportunities throughout each year and ask that you support us by donating what you can to help us raise as much as we can for this wonderful new centre.
