Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2024 · 2 June 2024 ·

Sight Scotland has supported and campaigned for people affected by visual impairment for over two centuries, but we know we can do more. Our vision is an inclusive Scotland where everyone, regardless of their sight, has the opportunity to thrive. But we can only achieve this with your help.

Story

Freya and I are about to be taking on 3 of the Kiltwalks for Sight Scotland. We will be heading to Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh. Each event will be a challenge but I am excited to do it with Freya beside me. As you all know Sight Scotland have been a massive part of Freyas journey along with the Royal Blind School.

Living with sight loss can leave people feeling vulnerable, isolated and living in fear.   Every hour in Scotland someone starts to lose their sight. It is scary, it is lonely and it will change lives.

Sight Scotland's experience in sight loss means they are here for you, your friends and family. From the moment there is a diagnosis, to as long as you need them. Sight Scotland will use all their knowledge and experience to be a source of support and advice to give people with sight loss the hope and courage to live life to the full.
