We help survivors of brain & spinal injury to rebuild their lives

Story

The Brain And Spinal Injury Centre (BASIC) is a Salford-based charity that provides counselling, information and support services for patients and their families following a brain or spinal injury.

From the creation of the UK’s first brain injury helpline, to the community garden, café and assisted gym. BASIC has continually aligned with the needs of clients and opportunities of forward-thinking recovery, and in 2015 installed the first public Virtual Reality Rehabilitation service.

In May 2024, colleagues based at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's Manchester office will be taking part in the 'Run Media City' event in an effort to raise money for BASIC's fantastic work serving those in the Greater Manchester area.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
