Next week we'll be attending the funeral of the second family member who lost their lifelong battle with anorexia. Our mum lived with it for her whole life and eventually it took her from us. Our sister Fran lost her fight far sooner and the effects of eating disorders still impact our family and hundreds of thousands of others like us.

In their memory, we (Owen and Freddy) are hoping to raise as much money as possible to help all those who suffer from the effects of eating disorders.

Support in the UK for eating disorders isn't great, but the good people of Beat are doing everything they can to make it better for the 1.25 million people who experience them in the UK. Beat supports anyone with an eating disorder, their friends and family, as well as professionals working with or worried about an individual in their care.
