I am going on a bike ride. A big one. On the other side of the world. In November, I’ll be cycling 450 km from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Cambodia’s temple complex of Angkor Wat.

This trip will mean many things to me, and it will be challenging, enriching, and exciting. But one of its most important purposes is to raise funds for the Women V Cancer charities: Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action.

We all know people close to us who have suffered from cancer or are going through treatment right now. More funding means vital research can be undertaken, and more preventative measures and treatments can be put in place. And those suffering from breast and ovarian cancer, as well as their loved ones, continue to receive the support they need.

I am self-funding the trip, so the funds I raise will go straight to my chosen charities.
