Story
In August 2013 my Mum had an unexpected cardiac arrest and passed away. A month later I started university with the added challenge of navigating a sudden bereavement.
It is for this reason I have chosen to support Daisy’s Dream for the London Marathon 2025. The experience of young people going through a bereavement has so many added challenges in need of extra support. Although many years have now gone by, bereavement is something I still experience and is a cause very close to my heart.
Each year Daisy's Dream support over 700 children and young people through their bereavement. Whether they are facing the death of someone they love or have already experienced their loss, their professionally qualified Family Workers are on hand to offer families the support and guidance they need. This amazing charity never charge anybody a penny for their services, but because of this Daisy's Dream need to raise around £450,000 a year to cover their costs. This is where you come in. Every pound you give will enable Daisy's Dream to support families when they need us the most. Please give what you can.
