Story
Hi Everyone,
I have set myself the task of running the Sandringham 5km in September for an amazing charity. I know 5km isn't a huge distance but I am setting myself the challenge of running in an inflatable costume as I like to try and make my life hard for myself, as if my first 5km race wasn't enough!
I am raising money for the amazing charity that I have the pleasure of working for.
The Swaffham and District Mental Health Association is a small charity based in Swaffham which was started nearly 50 years ago and registered 30 years ago as a charity in its own right.
We have warm and friendly Social Day Care Service for people living with mental health issues, including social isolation, dementia and other disabilities. I know the work of the amazing staff have helped our family and others to be able to continue to support loved ones in their own homes. As an occupational therapist, I am so keen to be able to expand the services we offer so we can help more people in need.
If you have any money that you can donate towards this great local cause I would be most grateful.
