My name is Francesca and I'm 9 years old. I am taking part in the Great North Swim on 10th June 2023, in Lake Windermere. I've never done open water swimming before, but I've been training really hard to make sure I can complete this race.

I'm raising money for Willowbrook Hospice, which is a specialist palliative care unit located in Prescot. It provides care for people with life-limiting diseases living in St Helens, Knowsley and the surrounding areas
