Story
It's no secret I have had my mental health struggles. It's also no secret that I have lost friends to their own battles. A few years ago, my dad trained to become a Shout volunteer. He now helps texters going through their own difficult times, and I'm pretty sure has saved a life or two.
I'm in a much better place than I was all those years ago, but I know that if I am ever in crisis, I can reach out with just a simple word: SHOUT, to 85258, and someone will be there to help me.
I am running Paris Marathon 2025 to raise money for Shout because, without them, many more people would lose their fight with their mental health.
I am doing this for Bex, for Gordy, and for me.
