On Thursday, 25th January, 2024 I'll be taking part in Manchester city centre's ONLY firewalk, and raising funds for We Love MCR Charity!

The original date was 2nd November 2023 but the event was postponed due to Storm Cieran and the high winds.

It isn't lost on me that the new date of 25th January, 2024 is Burn's Night!!!!

I'll be one of 100 firewalkers testing my resolve and braving 1000 degree hot coals in this ultimate mind-over-matter challenge...

This is to raise funds for We Love MCR's work giving heart, hope and opportunity to Manchester's communities & young people. They do this by:

- Empowering Manchester's unbeatable communities to improve the lives of people in their neighbourhoods with the Stronger Communities Fund.

- through our unique Manchester's Rising Stars Fund, changing the lives of ambitious young Mancunians who face barriers due to disadvantage.

- Being ready when Manchester needs it most, like with the Covid-19 Community Response Fund when they distributed £1million to 300+ groups on the frontline of the crisis, including food banks + domestic violence shelters.

Any money you can spare, no matter how much, will really help this fabulous charity and our wonderful City.
