Break the Cycle
Campaign by The Freedom Project (RCN 1187765)
Domestic abuse levels spike at Christmas. Together, we can prevent this from being a time of year that brings fear instead of joy. Let's break the cycle of abuse.

Story

The nationwide cost of living crisis is putting additional pressure and financial burden on the survivors of Domestic Abuse. A recent Women’s Aid survey reported that 96.4% of survivors responding had noticed a difference in the amount of money available to their household due to cost of living increase, with 92.0% experiencing an increased cost of food.

This Christmas, The Freedom Project wants to ensure that no survivor affected by Domestic Abuse has to worry about putting food on the table on Christmas Day for themselves or their children. That’s why we’ve partnered with Caterite to create Christmas Day hampers full of turkey and all the trimmings to be donated to our families most in need.

We’re asking for your support to raise £800 to provide food hampers for over 30 families in Cumbria this Christmas.

We know that the cost of living crisis is affecting most people so every penny of support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
