What’s this all about?

Chris and Swoosh have both signed up for Operation Zephyr: A charity aid journey from the UK to The Gambia on the West Coast of Africa by multi-agency Emergency Services personnel - Police, Fire and Ambulance. The team will be delivering much needed Ambulances and Fire Engines for The Gambian people.

The Target:

The goal of the charity is to raise money and collate vehicles and life saving equipment to transport to The Gambia. We aim to raise £3000 each (totalling £6000) before the event date of September 2024.

What Chris and Swoosh are going to do:

Both are going to participate and complete several strenuous activities that include the following:

- Climb Snowdon in Police Public Order gear (awaiting clearence).

- Paddle-board the canal waterway from Birmingham to Worcester. Over 30 miles distance.

- Walk Pole to Pole: walk from the most northern point of West Mercia Police force area (Shropshire) to the most southern (south Wales).
