As we all start to think about preparing for our own festivities, Foundation have also been considering how we can support the community during this holiday period.

With that being said, we are excited to announce as part of our ESG programme we are supporting The Cowshed’s Christmas Present Appeal

The Cowshed is a fantastic charity that support individuals in times of personal crisis; at Christmas they go the extra mile to ensure that children of families facing hardship get to experience the magic of Christmas, by giving each child a sack filled with Christmas gifts. This year they are expecting to be able to help around 2,500 children, from babies to 18 years of age.

We would absolutely love to be able to donate / fund enough for The Cowshed to make up 250 sacks for children this Christmas.

For every gift donated by colleagues, Foundation will match the total value of these contributions!

The Cowshed welcome any gift donations as long as they are new. They have however, made us aware that older children (particularly from aged 12+) usually get forgotten so any donations focused on that age group would be really great (although not essential!).

Here’s how you can help:

Donate a gift to go under the tree – If you’re in the office between now and 12th December you can bring in your donation and place it under the Giving Tree. Suggested gifts include:

Books (children’s stories or activity books)

Puzzles or games

Toys (age-appropriate for various children)

Warm hats, gloves, or scarves

For older children: Bluetooth speakers, toiletry gift packs, headphones, cosmetic and make-up gift sets, vanity mirrors, hairdryers, gaming keyboards, diamond art and games

Donate a gift via Amazon – Select a gift from The Cowshed’s Amazon Wish List to be sent to them directly. In order for Foundation to match the value of these donations, please let me know if you do this and share details of your purchase.

Donate cash – Make a cash contribution to help The Cowshed purchase gifts via our JustGiving page.

13th December is the last date for The Cowshed to receive any donations. Following this they will be busy wrapping, organising and delivering to families in readiness for Christmas.
