Story
I will be trekking Iceland in February 2025 to raise vital funds for the Lord Wandsworth Foundation. This is a tough challenge with freezing cold temperatures, icy winds, and uneven, mountainous paths covered in snow. Taking part is definitely going to take me out of my comfort zone as we hike volcanos and cross inhospitable terrain. I would be so grateful if you could please give what you can to support the Lord Wandsworth Foundation.
The Foundation (a part of Lord Wandsworth College in Hampshire) provides transformational school places for children who have suffered the loss of a parent, primarily through bereavement. Did you know that by the age of 16 around 1 in 20 young people will have experienced the death of one or both of their parents*? LWC offers approximately 50 Foundation places to children who have faced such challenging times in their young lives".

The Foundation is close to my heart, and I am excited to take up the challenge of this trek to help raise vital funds to support its work in the community. Thank you for reading and for considering a donation.
"The Foundation gave me the education, opportunities and start in life I could never have hoped for. I feel truly fortunate. Thank you."
