Hello Yellow 2024
Campaign by Young Minds Trust (RCN 1016968)
Wear yellow this World Mental Health Day on 10th October and raise money to show young people that they’re not alone with their mental health. Because we stand brighter, together.

Story

On Thursday 10th October we will be joining Young Minds in celebrating World Mental Health Day. To mark this day we are encouraging all children to join the country-wide initiative ‘Hello Yellow’, and wear yellow to school that day. The aim is for school’s across the country to wear yellow to brighten everyone’s days and bring awareness to an incredibly important issue; child and adolescent mental health. During the school day we will be focussing on being ‘mentally well’ and will be joining in with activities such as mindfulness colouring, yoga, breathing techniques and guided meditation, as well as discussing why it is important to be both mentally and physically healthy.

YoungMinds is the UK's leading charity championing the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Driven by their experience, YoungMinds creates change so that children and young people can cope with life's adversities, find help when needed and succeed in life.
