Foster Walk 2024
Campaign by The Fostering Network (RCN 280852 & SC039338)
Join us on Foster Walk this Foster Care Fortnight (13-26 May). Take on a walking challenge, get outside, meet new people and raise funds to support fostering families caring for 70,000 children and young people across the UK today.

Story

Our team of foster families, fostering service staff, friends and supporters are working together to celebrate foster care, raise awareness of the need for more foster carers and rasie funds to support the fostering community. Everything we raise will help ensure the 70,000 children and young people living with foster families today get the best possible care and life experiences.

Together we are walking through London's Olympic Park, joined by Fatima Whitbread MBE, Olympic athlete and a champion for care experienced children. Fatima says:

"I have first-hand experience of how foster care can change lives. That’s why I’m dedicated to building a better future for those in the care system.

"I know change is possible when people come together to work for a shared vision. Will you join me in celebrating and supporting the fostering community this Foster Care Fortnight?"

With your support we can create more life changing moments for children and their foster families into the future.
