Story
Foster was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where sports became more than a pastime; rather, they were a way of life! Although never a runner for distance, in-fact quite the opposite, there is a passionate athlete inside him that is excited for a chance to run a marathon!
In 2015, Foster stumbled upon Trail's End Camp, where he became a counselor in the summer after his freshman year of college. He continued coming back to camp, taking on new roles and challenges through the years. Upon graduation, Foster joined the Trail's End team full-time and moved to New York in the spring of 2021.
Passionate about camp and the experiences it provides, Foster has been involved with SCOPE over the past couple of years, volunteering his time and effort to help as many children get the camp experience he believes they should all have.
When the chance came for Foster to support SCOPE and the life-changing opportunities it can provide children, there was no way he was going to pass this one up, despite never running more than a 5k at one time....
However, that is now a stat of the past. Foster has begun his training and has completed a Half Marathon as of April 28th. He can't wait to set foot on this long journey and have a positive impact on others along the way.
Thank you in advance for your donations and I look forward to seeing the Team SCOPE supporters out there on race day.
P.S. if your sign makes me laugh i'll come take a selfie and a high-five... I just may be really hot & sweaty.
HERE WE GO.
