Story
This year, The Voice, Foster Denovo's employee engagement group, have arranged for staff to take part in a late summer challenge to raise awareness and funds for Surrey Care Trust https://www.surreycaretrust.org.uk/, a charity who provide learning, training and mentoring to support people in improving their chances in life.
So, what challenge are we undertaking? 13 plucky FD adventurers are taking on the legendary Surrey 5 Peaks Hikeathon, not only for their own enjoyment, but to change people's lives! This year the route starts in Headley and both 13-mile and 26-mile walkers get the opportunity to take in some of Surrey’s beautiful scenery of chocolate box villages, picturesque churches, restful woodland, and of course a few hills!
Taking on the Surrey 5 Peaks Hikeathon will enable us to help support vulnerable young people, adults and families in order to improve their lives. Surrey Care Trust supports vulnerable and disadvantaged people across Surrey who are struggling with a wide range of issues including poor mental health, isolation, education, and unemployment. The work they do is critical in making sure that these people are able to live fulfilling lives.
Please be as generous as you are able to for a truly worthy cause and don't forget to support our 13 dedicated hikers!
