This year in Addis Ababa on Sunday 23rd November 2025 sees the staging of the 25th edition of the Great Ethiopian Run International 10km road race. To celebrate this landmark anniversary, For Ethiopia will be holding its own 10km on the Downs in Bristol to express solidarity with us as we unite in the joy of running, which enjoys such a rich heritage in Ethiopia.

As a charity, For Ethiopia are committed to working with women and girls in the Ejere District of Ethiopia, especially in providing support to access primary and secondary education as well as supporting menstrual health.
