This year the Forest Hill Society's Christmas quiz will take place at the All Inn One, Perry Vale, SE23 2NE, at 7.30pm on Tuesday 5 December.

Entry is free, but we welcome donations to support our chosen cause, Lewisham Foodbank. All contributions will go directly to help those in our borough who most need it.

Without the support of our financial donors we would not be able to feed nearly 700 people a week. We are so grateful to you all. We are about more than giving food and essentials. We are about restoring dignity when our system has stripped it away:

"In April I needed a food parcel, first time in my life. I was distraught and embarrassed. I was ashamed in front of my wife, and deeply depressed.

In amongst the pasta & apples there were some CHOCOLATE BISCUITS. We sat with a cuppa, shared them & talked for the first time in months."
