Story
Rob, Seb, Sam, Sophie, and Callum are a group of friends from Exmouth who bonded at school and are all still close friends to this day. This year, Robs Dad, Paul, became aware of a lump on his neck and after fantastic and quick testing from the NHS, found out he had Stage 3 Head and Neck Cancer.
He had radiotherapy and chemotherapy for seven weeks, and in form only Paul could achieve, totally refused his feeding tube and continued to chew and swallow throughout getting his neck battered day after day.
Paul’s journey is continuing, but he’s been constantly and consistently praising the NHS, and when asked what charity matters most to him for us to raise money for, he’s said Force - not because of the support they offered him, but because of what they offer family and friends of cancer patients - which sums up Paul’s heart perfectly.
So, the group are doing the three peaks challenge, which for those of you who don’t know, is where you hike Snowdon, Ben Nevis, and Scafell Pike in 24 hours, to raise money for this amazing charity and to support Paul within his journey.
