Story
The Krainman Kids are Fluttering to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research. Fluttering will be ongoing for the entire month of September, so please help us continue this chain by donating and nominating the next home for our visit tomorrow. We Flutter this year to honor Braylee Vaughn (forever 11) Jennifer Kranz (forever 6) and all other pediatric cancer warriors be they past, present, or future.
This is a cause near and dear to our hearts, not only because any one of our children could one day receive a devastating cancer diagnosis, but because this particular charity, Unravel Pediatric Cancer was formed by our extended family member after the loss of her forever-six-year-old daughter, Jennifer Kranz, in 2014.
46 kids are diagnosed with cancer every single day and seven will die. Research is grossly underfunded but grassroots efforts like Fluttering fuel the fight and give kids a fair chance. You do make a difference with your donation! Once we know better, we can do better!
Unravel is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working to bridge the gap in funding for pediatric cancer research. With the help of warrior families and their communities, Unravel raises awareness of the need for this research and the funds to support it. Unlike the typical grant funding model, Unravel gives unrestricted funds to innovative pediatric cancer researchers, which removes barriers and accelerates the development of more effective and less toxic treatments for children with cancer.
