Story
This is the 3rd year in a row that I have decided to raise funds for Cancer Relief.
The reason I am raising funds for this charity is because cancer has had a major impact on my life where I sadly lost both of my parents.
Cancer affects 1 in 2 people in their lifetime. The cancer relief centre play a major role in Gibraltar helping those who are battling cancer and even those who have been affected by it.
This year I will be taking on 4 challenges consisting of:
1. Spinathon at St Bernard’s Hospital. This is an open event where anyone can come down and spin during timed slots. There will also be a raffle, bake sale and music! Date 4th April. *Completed and raised £1665.59 & €39.90!*
2. Med Steps 5. I’ll complete Med Steps consistently 5 times. Date 20th April *completed*
3. Sky Dive. Skydiving 15,000ft on 27th April. Joining me is: Damien, Natalie, Jerai, Eilen, Belle and Cathy! *completed*
4. Around the Rock Challenge. Cycle around the rock, run around the rock, med steps and finish with a dip in the sea! Date 4th May *completed*
My aim is to raise as much money as possible and to spread awareness of the signs of cancer during this timeframe.
Raffle draw 4th April at 3pm. Please get in contact to buy tickets (please see posters).
If you would like to join me in any challenge please get in touch!
For anyone reading ensure you regularly examine yourself and if in doubt see your GP.
