London marathon TAKE 2!!!

This time I’m actually running it!

2 years ago I raised nearly £12,000 for Prostate Cancer UK in memory of my Dad. I am so grateful for such extraordinary support and generosity. But… I didn’t manage to run the actual race, because a certain someone was on their way, which I found out a few weeks before the marathon kicked off.

Although I was so happy to find out I was expecting my now 16-month-old Felix, it put an end to my running plans, as I wasn’t prepared to run a marathon for the first time while expecting.

So I deferred my place, and here we are! It’s been nearly 3 years in the making, and training looks very different now with a little one at home. But I am SO ready to run this race for my Dad…. It means the world to me to tread the same steps he did, and to raise (hopefully) even more money for such a good cause.
