Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to at least £45 million a year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Our Story.

My bestie and FF instructor since Day 1, Emma, is married to Dave. In December '24, Dave was diagnosed with a Stage 4 brain tumour. In April the following year, the tumour was removed, but as it is with the nature of this tumour, cells have returned.

Dave and Emma are working as a team together with The Royal Marsden on his journey to stay well, active and living the best life possible with his family and friends.

Thanks to charities such as Brain Tumour Research, Dave is currently on a clinical trial:

5G Emerald for glioblastomas. We are all supporting Dave and Em as he goes through continuous treatment and what better way to emphasise this, than to support this fantastic charity!

--------------------------------------

One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
