Hello friends and family!

As you might know, I am running the 2025 London Landmarks Half Marathon in April alongside my best friends, which includes real life superwoman - Maria Campanini.

In September 2023, our Maria lost her beautiful big sister Gina Campanini to Sepsis. Gina was 30 years old, perfectly healthy, a primary school teacher with her whole life ahead of her, and so dearly loved by her many friends and family. In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, Maria and her family have climbed and moved mountains with the aim of fundraising for the UK Sepsis Trust and promoting awareness of this devastating condition. Maria herself has taken up the incredible challenge of running one half marathon every month throughout 2025, in locations that are special to her and her sister Gina.

With my participation in London Landmarks this year, I hope to help honour Gina's memory and to champion Maria and her family on their mission. Together we will all raise as many funds as possible to support the life-saving charity that is the Sepsis Trust, and we will spread awareness of this life-threatening but preventable condition as far and wide as possible.
