Story
Good friends Logan and Zac are taking on this challenge together to raise money for Autism Anglia, a charity very close to their hearts. For those who know the boys, I don't need to explain their friendship. For those who don't know them - Logan and Zac met when they were neighbours at 3 years old. Since then they've seen each other regularly and stayed in the same class all the way through primary together. Logan and Zac have a unique bond, Zac is autistic, Logan has a way of helping Zac and encouraging him to do things. They have spent many a Halloween knocking on doors together, Fireworks displays, a lot of family walks and multiskills at school. Both Zac's mums would comment that Logan just has a better way to explain an activity to Zac then they could. Logan has also chased Zac to the finish line on many a sports day. Zac has done so much for Logan, encouraging lifelong skills of patience, understanding, kindness and a true understanding of friendship. Whenever Logan has been asked why he helps Zac, his reply is always, because he's my friend.
The boys along with Zac's mums are taking part in the Muddy Fun 4.0 to raise funds for Autism Anglia - a charity which is close to all our hearts. They will be tackling obstacles and getting muddy so the least you can do is sponsor them to make it all worthwhile!
Autism is a lifelong condition which affects how a person interacts with and relates to other people, and for autistic people the world can be a confusing, unpredictable and sometimes scary place.
Autism Anglia strives to support autistic people at all stages of their lives. As a charity fundraising is vital to help us raise awareness of autism, ensure the children and adults we support have access to sensory, play and communication equipment to meet their needs, and that we can help families during difficult times.
