I wanted a challenge! and what better cause to run the London Marathon April, 2024, I will be running for Prevent Breast Cancer. A big thank you to this amazing charity for giving me this opportunity to run this iconic event!

I have not run for 18 years and need to get fit again!

MY WHY..family experience with this disease.

My step-daughters Nicole and Becky lost their Mum (Tracy) at a young age and both Grandma's to Breast Cancer. This has had a devasting effect on their lives.

I have taken part in a braid trial- dense breast tissue,. Supporting research is paramount as it will help future generations.

I know there are many other families going through the same as ours. By raising awareness/ funds we can ensure that my step daughters and others are able to access the support needed to face their journey. Together we can make a difference.

Prevent Breast Cancer

The only charity in the UK dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. Unlike many cancer charities, they focus on preventing, rather than curing. Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, they believe we can stop the problem before it starts.

Every year in the UK, over 55,900 individuals are diagnosed. That's over 150 people a day. And every year, we lose 11,500 to this disease. That is 11,500 too many. In fact, it is 55,900 too many.
