I am taking part in the LEJOG1400 Audax long distance cycle and raising funds for Giving More International which after triple matching will donate this money to nominated charities - which provide support to those facing physical and mental disabilities - The Scottish Cycling Foundation which runs Trail Therapy programmes to support disabled people’s access to adaptive bikes and coaching to get back into nature. And the Margarita Liasidou Foundation.

For every £10 I raise, the charities will get £40.

My personal challenge event is on 28 July when I will attempt to cycle the 1400km from lands End to John O’Groats in 4 days 20 hours and 40 minutes .. I’m not confident I can complete it but I’ll give it my best! Whatever you can sponsor me would be much appreciated to get me through the sleep deprivation, fatigue and mental stress!

In October I’m also joining Edrington colleagues in fundraising for these charities for Epic 5 - a self funded challenge cycling event in Cyprus.
