Story

On July 4th 2022, my youngest son made his entrance into this world, 2 months earlier than expected. As such, the NICU journey at Derriford Hospital began.

For those unaware, The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides specialist medical intensive care treatment for extremely preterm and sick newborn babies in the South West Peninsula, that is, Exeter, Torbay, Barnstaple, Truro and Plymouth.

This is the second year in a row that I will be raising money for NICU and I intend on continuing this for as long as my body will let me!

So, what am I doing this year?

I have decided to take on the streets of Manchester and am running in the Adidas Manchester Marathon on Sunday 14th April 2024. Pray for my toenails.

Any donations will of course be hugely appreciated and will go toward a life-saving, life-changing charity, one I am eternally grateful for.

THANK YOU!
