Story
As of writing, in February, I am 16 years old and use running as a way to establish a healthy work-life balance.
More importantly, I'll be raising money for Meningitis Now, a charity which researches, supports, campaigns and raises awareness for meningitis and those affected by it. Until recently, I was largely unaware of meningitis until one of our influential members at the golf club was largely affected by meningitis. Moreover, following an online course I did on meningitis recently as part of an extra curricular for medical school, it was there I learned just how much impact meningitis has on so many people and the need to develop understanding and acknowledge said impact.
If you're able to donate, it would mean so much to so many people: Me, Meningitis Now and most importantly, those affected by Meningitis, because the work MN does to better the lives of those living with meningitis relies on the donations of people like you.
Thank you.
Update: 1/9/24
I’d just like to hop on here and thank everyone for their generous donations. Exactly a week to go and we’ve just raised £1000 for MN; I think this milestone serves as a token to certainly guarantee a positive impact on even just one persons life, so again, thank you to every single person who spared the time to aid the charity. 😊🧡
