Over the years, I’ve been so grateful for the amazing care I’ve had, and for the care my family and friends have received on the children’s wards. It’s something that’s always stuck with me, and it’s made me realise just how important these places are.

My mum has worked on the children’s ward at Crosshouse and at Rainbow House, so I’ve seen firsthand how hard all staff work and how people are so grateful for the work of the children’s fund to support children and families through some really tough times. It’s incredible what they do, and I want to say thank you in a way that really makes a difference.
