Story
Fighting Blindness is a patient-led charity with a vision to cure blindness, support people living with sight loss and empower patients. They are the ONLY Irish charity funding research into treatments for sight loss. To date, they have invested over €20 million in more than 115 research and clinical projects.
They do phenomenal work to empower more than 272,000* children and adults in Ireland who are blind or visually impaired.
If you are giving today, it's likely you know either my son, Cumhall or someone close to him. Cumhall is an active, assertive, curious and giggly 22-month-old who was born with a genetic condition, Leber’s Congenital Amaurosis. He is non-sighted.
It is because of Fighting Blindness that we and so many other families around Ireland have answers and HOPE that one day those who cannot see a sunset or their mum's proud smile, will.
All donations, big or small really, REALLY appreciated,
Li
