My London Marathon 2026 Story:
Why I Run
I’ve signed up to run the London Marathon… again.
But this time, it’s not for the thrill. It’s not for the medal.
It’s personal.
In April 2026, I’ll be running for Children with Cancer UK, a charity close to my heart—because every mile I run carries a message:
Our children deserve better.
Better treatments: gentler, smarter, and designed just for them.
Better support: for families navigating the unimaginable.
And above all, a louder voice.
My daughter once said:
“I get asked, what is cancer?”
That question belongs in research labs—not in children’s mouths.
Yet here we are. And that’s why I’m here.
Childhood cancer remains underfunded, undertreated, and spoken about far too quietly.
We don’t have the luxury of time or silence.
