Story
On Friday 21st June, Team FT will be dusting off our walking boots, as we tackle the 35km Fritham, Ringwood and Hyde Circular, all in aid of Naomi House & Jacksplace!
As we gear up for a day of fun, fresh air and fundraising, our team would be grateful for your support in reaching our target of £2,000!
At Fiander Tovell we are proud corporate partners of Naomi House & Jacksplace, a charity which provides hospice care to life-limited and life-threatened young people and their families across the central South of England.
Each and every donation will allow Naomi House & Jacksplace to continue providing young people and their parents access to the specialist care that they need.
If you are unable to donate, please spread the word of our fundraising campaign far and wide!
A message from Naomi House..
So … 21st June is a very significant day for the hospice and the story is as follows …
The late Mary Cornelius Reid gifted the land for Naomi House to be built 27 years ago on two conditions … one was that the hospice named after her daughter, Naomi, and the other is that she would charge us a peppercorn rent of a dozen red roses given to Naomi each Midsummers day (21 June). This tradition still stands to this day.
