Hi everyone,

Me and my wonderful sister Olivia are taking on Hackney Half Marathon to raise awareness for the 5.7 million unpaid carers, including many kids & teens, who sacrifice so much of their lives and go the extra mile each day to care for their loved ones.

We’re raising funds for Carers UK - who offer vital resources, information, advice, advocacy and a supportive community for those providing care to a loved one who is ill, disabled, or elderly.

I hear what you’re asking - where will my money go? Well:

- £10 could enable two carers to join a supportive Care for a Cuppa online chat and take a break from their caring responsibilities

- £25 could allow a trained adviser to run a Zoom advice session, helping to connect 2 carers who are new to caring, bringing them together to share crucial information and support - community always wins

- £50 could help us make vital connections and answer e-mails from two people who find it difficult to pick up the phone and call us

Olivia and I are keen to ensure that anyone who is giving their time and energy into caring for others gets a lil something back. Thank you so much! :) <3
