Can you help? We are planning a sponsored paraglide in Albania to raise funds for a charity called Moving Mountains Trust that runs the ongoing work at Embu Rescue Centre, Kenya.

All donations raised will go directly to the charity and the jump will be separately funded.

We recently returned from three weeks in Embu, where we saw firsthand how vital the rescue centre's work is for the street children and those in surrounding slums, who live in desperate conditions.

Many sleep outside amongst rubbish, living on one plate of beans a day. This is very often the only food they get.

Many children are addicted to glue or jet fuel to alleviate their hunger. Having a place to go each day, with a team of volunteers ready to welcome them who know each individual child is so vital.

The rescue centre team remain joyful, dedicated and committed to these children in the hope of a better future for them.
