Story

Hi, my name is Felicity and I'm 11 years old. I absolutely love climbing and wanted to set myself a challenge whilst raising money for a charity. I first heard about Climbers Against Cancer at the Cliffhanger festival in Sheffield. I have decided to climb the height of Everest mainly on lead ( for those who know me, will know that I prefer top rope).

Everest is 8849m (29035 ft) tall, which means in amongst school (8am - 6pm), homework and other hobbies, I will need to climb approximately 44 routes per week which is 525 meters per week to reach my target of completing the challenge in 4 months (the usual time it takes to climb everest in real life is 2 months, albeit in much worse conditions). I started on 1 November 2023 and hope to finish before 29 February 2024.

I won't just be picking the easy routes. I want to push myself to climb harder and earn every penny of your donation!

I would really like your support whether that be a message, a share or a donation for a very worthy cause.
