We raise awareness and funds to combat the causes of homelessness

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This Christmas the Fine & Country Worcestershire team will be walking from the F&C office in Droitwich Spa to Worcester (approx. 6.3 miles) dressed in Christmas outfits!

The funds will go to the Foundation Charity to help the homeless and some of the proceeds will also be used to buy selection boxes and small gifts which we can hand over to the homeless in the run up to Christmas. We are committed to helping the homeless and would like to donate to the local area. 

We had a larger event earlier in the year which was very successful - but thought this event would be more personal as we can try and add a bit of cheer to the homeless during a period that can be really sad and lonely.

About the charity

The Fine & Country Foundation has been created to help combat one of the largest social issues in the UK – homelessness. Last year, the Government estimated around 2,414 people sleep on the street on any one night across England, a rise of 36% over three years. Often the reasons for homelessness are misunderstood, with many blaming the individuals for poor life decisions and carelessness. The reality is: people become homeless for a whole range of complex and overlapping reasons that cannot be avoided, such as family breakdowns, mental or physical health problems or debts. Solving homelessness does not only involve putting a roof over people’s heads, it is also trying to tackle the root of the problem and asking the question: why did they became homeless in the first place? The Fine & Country Foundation is dedicated to bringing together all Fine & Country agents in over 300 locations worldwide to raise awareness of the causes of homelessness whilst supporting homeless charities.
