For Mental Health Awareness Week our incredible team of supporters are taking to the skies and braving a skydive in support of good mental health for all.

Story

In case you don’t know I have wanted to do a skydive for many years and always ended up with an obstacle in the way stopping me from doing it. Well finally I have bitten the bullet and booked one so life will just have to fit around it! I am looking forward to raising money for the Mental Health Foundation, a great charity that has been running since 1949 and is the UK’s leading charity for everyone’s mental health. The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health. With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.

I have struggled in the past with my own mental health and relied on my friends and family for support. Even though I am in a better place, every once in a while my mental health struggles and it can be challenging to recognise this and continue working towards good mental health. Having charities in place like the Mental Health Foundation makes it more accessible for anyone to get the support and guidance they need.

I hope you will help my giving a small donation to this cause.

The Mental Health Foundation believe no-one living in the UK should be deprived of the opportunity for good mental health because of who they are, the community they come from or where they live. We’re developing better ways to support good mental health in every community.
