Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We (Sarah and Callum) along with Andrew Whiteley one of our original founding members at F45 are taking on a challenge (A challenge to us as non cyclists) to support the work of Tom's Trust, A charity that is very close to Andrew and founded in 2011 in memory of his son Tom.
It's our way of showing our support to the charity and Andrew. Andrew is a big part of our community here at F45 both in and out of the studio.
We will be cycling from Cambridge to Brighton via F45 studios for an F45 workout and ending with a sea swim in Brighton and then cycling all the way back to Cambridge a total of over 200 miles plus a swim and workouts in just 48 hours. (Hopefully nearer 38)
We are reasonably fit yes but the most we cycle is a few intervals in an F45 class so this will be a test of endurance and also our limited navigation skills too.
We would love for you to support us and Tom's Trust and would be very grateful of any donations.
Tom’s Trust is dedicated to providing psychological support for children with brain tumours and their families and is based locally in Cambridge.
Tom’s Trust is the UK’s only charity dedicated to providing mental health support to children with brain tumours and their families to improve their quality of life and wellbeing. Our clinical psychologists work from our centres in hospitals across the UK, helping children from diagnosis and continuing that support as their needs change. By providing mental health support at the point of diagnosis and beyond, we provide the best chance for children to get back to school, resume their lives and go on to achieve their full potential.
We are proud to currently support 371 children and an estimated 1,113 family members. Our work is additional to the very basic NHS provision, which is not designed or intended to manage the complex psychological requirements of young people with brain tumours
