Now this one is big. With a history of epic challenges involving our entire team, this could (quite possibly) be our most ambitious company challenge yet.

Say hello to the ‘Every Street Challenge’ 👋🏼

1684 Torbay streets. 1684 selfies. Just 24 hours to cover the whole of Torbay.

Oh, and no cars allowed 🚫

So, how did we arrive at this totally crazy idea? Back in January we put our thinking caps on and got to work masterminding our next charity fundraising endeavour. We wanted this years’ challenge to reflect our roots in property but also push us way further than ever before. Our founding director Simon put forward the idea of a selfie with every single road sign across Torbay. Though at first we all thought it was totally bonkers, we quickly got on board with it being a super fun way to highlight how we cover every single street in Torbay… whilst also pushing us to the absolute limit physically! 😉

On Friday 16th May, all of our team (plus some of our friends, family and other local businesses) will set off either on foot, scooter or bike to tick off each road within Torbay. With assigned patches to cover, we’ll be taking a photo with every street sign. With so many roads to visit, plus a lot of Torbay’s infamous hills, it’ll be a mission to get around but we are feeling confident we can do it 💪🏼

With our Marketing Manager Holly working overseas in New Zealand, she’ll also be completing the challenge by matching up popular Torbay road names with road names in Wellington, New Zealand. With a time difference at play she will be setting off the night before our challenge and then will collect all our selfies to hopefully create a huge jigsaw puzzle of Torbay.

Of course, at the heart of this whacky endeavour is the goal of raising money for Rowcroft Hospice. Rowcroft Hospice are committed to providing comfort, support and specialist care to thousands of patients with life-limiting conditions and their loved ones across South Devon each year. We feel incredibly strongly about their importance within our local community and are proud to support them again this year.
