Story
The second charity I have chosen to support is Parkinsons UK. As most of you will know my lovely mum was diagnosed with this awful disease. Thankfully with support from Parkinsons UK she has been able to continue to live a fulfilling life, enjoying holidays, working, and of course attending every home game for the Saints!
Fundraising for Parkinson’s has never been more important as the pandemic had a huge impact on demand for their services. Symptoms and morale got worse due to the isolation and like all charities, they were unable to run fundraising events. A big way in which this charity support people is by running outreach groups and activities to keep people socialising and fit, Covid put a stop to all this and people are looking for support to get back outside through their local groups and face to face advisors.
As you can see their work is so important and I ask that you give what you can so they can continue to help people just like my mum.
