Sleepout at the Cathedral 2024 · 22 November 2024 ·

For the first time in 5 years, our community is back at the Cathedral, sleeping out in solidarity with the 7,500 people currently living without stable homes in Manchester. Sleep out for one night, make a difference for a lifetime.

Story

This November, we're fundraising for the Booth Centre, a remarkable charity in Manchester dedicated to tackling homelessness and poverty. The Booth Centre has been a beacon of hope for nearly 30 years, providing essential services and building a supportive community for those in need. Last year, a small team of us participated in the Sleepout at the Booth Centre itself, and now we’re back for round two at the iconic Manchester Cathedral.

This event is not just about raising funds; it’s about standing in solidarity with the people of Manchester who face the harsh realities of homelessness every day.

The Sleepout at the Cathedral is a powerful way to show our support and raise awareness. The demand for the Booth Centre’s services has surged by 62% in the past year, highlighting the urgent need for continued support - join us in making a lasting impact on our community!
