Story

This year, my dad and I are stepping out of our comfort zones and shotting on our running shoes to tackle the Great North Run. We are doing this to raise money for Teesside Mind, a charity that provides vital help and advice to those experiencing mental health problems.

Every year, 1 in 4 people will face a mental health challenge. It's a staggering statistic that highlights the importance of organizations like Teesside Mind. They offer support, guidance, and resources to individuals who need it most.

This is completely new to us and if you told me this time last year I’d be spending my weekends running I would have laughed. Our aim is to not only raise funds but also create awareness about mental health issues. We believe that everyone deserves access to the help they need when facing such challenges.

Our target amount of £500 seems daunting but with your support, we can make a significant impact. Your contribution will go directly towards providing essential services and support for those struggling with their mental well-being.

Please pray for my knees and help Teesside Mind continue their important work and ensure that no one faces mental health challenges alone.
