Story
Terry Fox was a young Canadian athlete whose life took a dramatic turn when he lost his leg to cancer. Determined to make a difference, he embarked on an extraordinary journey in 1980, running across Canada to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. His legacy endures inspiring millions, and the Terry Fox Run has become an annual Canadian tradition. We (the EUMRC) would like to take this tradition to Edinburgh, and are organizing a 5km Terry Fox Run around the Meadows, to raise funds for The Institute of Cancer Research.
